‘As a classroom teacher who taught mainly in the lower Primary sector, I have always enjoyed teaching Science lessons as they were an opportunity to make learning hands on, fun & engaging. I am a visual learner & this type of lesson suited my teaching style. During my time at MCSS I became involved in running our school Science competition & things grew from there.’

MCSS have won the “best Overall Primary School” at Griffith University – Gold Coast Schools Science competition six years running & have had entries go into the BHP Billiton Competition through the STAQ Science Competition.
