New grants for school students to attend science events
Who can apply and how
Grants of between $1000 and $5000 per student are available to schools and organisations that apply on behalf of students to attend or participate in STEM-related events, with up to $20 000 available for group applications. Applications for over $10 000 must at least match grant funds with cash or in-kind contributions.
Some examples of events and competitions that would be eligible for students to attend using these sponsorship grants include:
- INTEL International Science and Engineering Fair
- Google Science Fair
- World Science Festival
- International Youth Science Forums
- STEM-based camps
