A welcome event for Math and Science pre-service (FREE for QAMT/STAQ pre service teacher members, $10 Full members, $20 non-members), first and second year teachers, those returning to the classroom or those teaching out of field. This event includes some effective teaching ideas & activities for you to use in your classroom presented by experienced teachers.

4.30pm: Abel Smith Lecture Theatre, The University of Queensland, St Lucia for light refreshments and President’s introduction

5.00pm: Split into Primary, Middle & Secondary groups for 3x 40 minute sessions

6.30pm: Q&A – ask new to teaching & experienced teachers questions

7.00pm: Finish & Prize Draw
